ROBOTICS AT HOLLAND BLOORVIEW

For the past few years, our team has been visiting Holland Bloorview to help run Lego-based activities of building and coding. In the 2019 season, we decided to try something new, and helped start 2 FLL Jr. teams. Over the course of 8 weeks, 6 members from our team traveled across the city from our school to Holland Bloorview Kid’s Rehabilitation Hospital! We mentored the teams, and helped them to construct their "Moonbase" and complete their Engineering Notebooks! We assisted them during their presentations and helped design their teams' logos. We helped them rehearse their presentation to the Judges, and went up with them to receive their medals during the 2019 Ontario District Championship while where we were competing! Additionally, members of our team volunteer for the LEGO Robotics program set up for the Fall and Winter.
