LAMINAR 2026
Competing REBUILT presented by Haas, our robot LAMINAR is named after how our shooter resembles a LAMINAR flow. It is able in intake up to 3 fuel at a time, stowing up to 60 at a time. from there our double co-axile dye rotor can feed the fuel into the shooter. The shooter can shoot from anywhere on the field becuase of the 400 degree turret and 30 degree hood.Â
Big Aristotle 2025
Competing REEFSCAPE presented by Haas, our robot Big Aristotle, named after basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, gets its name from the way it brings down reef on our home field. It was able to intake both corals as well as score on all four levels of the reef using the elevator and end effector which redirects the coral from vertical to an angle to score on both levels 2 and 3. Additionally, Big Aristotle was able to climb a deep cage with ease. Because of the angled elevator Big Aristotle could also descore algae on all levels of the reef.
Franzen 2024
Franzen, named after our team's founder who had recently retired, competed in CRESCENDO presented by Haas to great success winning North Bay as alliance 1 alliance captains. Franzen used a roller mechanism to scoop up notes from the ground. In a first FRC Franzen using outrunners to throw and place notes into the speaker and amp respectively. Using a telescoping arm Franzen could lift itself off the ground.
